On October 12 and 13, Barriera Design District is hosting TRIP, an urban redevelopment project in the Barriera neighborhood of Turin, Italy. For two days, 23 artists will take over 13 locations with a packed schedule of performances, live sets, exhibitions, workshops, and other events. A WORKSHOP THAT BLENDS THE ARTISTIC VISIONS OF POMARICO + ZANINO
Pomarico’s colorful, dreamlike, surreal layers of painting serve as a vehicle for Zanino’s process of deconstruction: an image is drawn only to be split into fragments and reassembled. It’s a talisman, an amulet inviting us to ponder how coded messages are open to an infinite number of interpretations—much like desires, memories, and our ways of understanding the world.
Il 12 e 13 Ottobre Barriera Design District organizza TRIP, un progetto di riqualificazione urbana nel quartiere Barriera a Torino che per due giorni vedrà 23 artisti per 13 location coinvolti in un programma ricco di performance, live set, mostre, workshop e altri eventi. UN WORKSHOP CHE FONDE LE VISIONI ARTISTICHE DI POMARICO E ZANINO
La pittura colorata e onirica, surreale e sognante di sovrapposizioni di Pomarico, si fa interprete del processo di Decostruzione di Zanino: un’immagine viene disegnata per essere poi divisa in frammenti e ricomposta. Un talismano-amuleto che ci invita a pensare a come i messaggi in codice siano aperti a una infinità di letture. Così come i desideri, i ricordi e le modalità di comprensione del mondo.
