Dreher beer advertising sign assemblage abstract sculpture.

Decostruzione XCXIÂ investigates the latent narratives embedded in industrial remnants and urban visual culture. The work originates from a dismantled advertising sign, removed from its original communicative function and reconfigured into a sculptural relief where surface, material memory, and formal tension coexist.
Through subtraction, fragmentation, and recomposition, Zanino transforms a familiar object of mass consumption into a site of critical observation. The original iconography is neither erased nor celebrated; instead, it is destabilized, allowing traces of time, use, and erosion to emerge as active visual agents. What once operated as a directive message becomes an open structure, inviting interpretation rather than persuasion.
Positioned between sculpture and painting, Decostruzione XCXI reflects on the aesthetics of obsolescence and the ecology of images in the contemporary landscape. The work proposes a shift from functionality to contemplation, revealing how discarded materials can generate new symbolic value and redefine our relationship with the visual debris of late capitalism.
